We work as certified Executive Breathing Coaches, meaning we teach business owners, executives, and CEO’s simple practices they can use daily to improve their health and feel more grounded.
But – we also teach these techniques to our two daughters!
They are 7 and 10, and often practice breathing with us. When they see us feeling agitated and then stop to breathe, they can’t help but want to join in to see what it’s all about. They are curious!
We’ll put aside even just three minutes and sit on the living room floor or outside in the yard, sometimes they will lead a session and sometimes we do. We are working together to feel the relaxation and balance needed to enjoy each other’s company.It’s really important to us that we raise our kids with tools like this to see them through the ups and downs of life.
If we can instill regular breathing techniques in them, they’ll be much better equipped to handle stress, anxiety, illness, focus, sleep, and feel more grounded as they grow up.
It’s never too young to teach your children healthy habits guys!
